What is TangoBB?
TangoBB is a small open-source bulletin board (forum) project published on GitHub under the MIT licence. It provides threads, conversations, member profiles, moderation tools and a theme system. Its maintainers have discontinued development, so it is best treated as a legacy or learning project rather than an actively supported forum.
Project status: The repository README states development has been discontinued; the Softaculous listing shows version 1.5.1 from July 2015. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.
