What is The Bug Genie?
The Bug Genie is an open-source issue tracking and project management tool written in PHP, published under the MPL-2.0 licence and running since 2002. It combines issue tracking with an integrated wiki, agile boards, workflows and release management. The project has since been archived and replaced by a successor called Pachno.
Project status: The project's GitHub repository was archived by its owner in April 2024 (read-only) and its README says it has been replaced by a successor called Pachno; Softaculous lists version 4.3.1 from March 2019. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.
