What is Burden?
Burden is a lightweight, open-source task management web application written in PHP and created by Josh Fradley (joshf on GitHub). It lets you add, edit and delete tasks, mark them important or complete, and group them by category. The project is no longer actively maintained, so it suits small personal to-do lists rather than team project management.
Project status: The official GitHub README states the project is no longer actively maintained and points to another tool as a replacement; the most recent commit visible in the repository history is from October 2017. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.
