What is Typesetter?
Typesetter is an open-source content management system written in PHP that stores content in flat files, so no database is needed. It focuses on ease of use with true WYSIWYG editing, where pages are edited as visitors see them. Its latest release is old and its original project website is no longer online.
Project status: The latest release listed on the project's GitHub releases page is version 5.1 from August 2019 (Softaculous lists August 2017), and the original project website typesettercms.com is offline. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.
