What is Tiny Tiny RSS?
Tiny Tiny RSS, or tt-rss, is a free, open-source web-based news feed reader and aggregator written in PHP by Andrew Dolgov and released under the GPL-3.0. It lets you read RSS and Atom feeds from any browser. The Softaculous listing is an older 2019 release, and upstream has since changed.
Project status: The Softaculous package is version 19.8 from August 2019. The original developer announced the shutdown of the official tt-rss.org infrastructure on 1 November 2025; a community fork now continues on GitHub, and its current code targets PostgreSQL and Docker rather than a plain PHP/MySQL install. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.

Tiny Tiny RSS requirements
- The current community fork documents Docker and PostgreSQL; requirements of the older Softaculous release could not be verified
The Softaculous copy is a 2019 release, so its behaviour on current PHP versions is untested here. The current upstream code is documented for Docker and PostgreSQL, which a standard shared cPanel account does not provide, so treat it as a legacy install.
