What is Pydio?
Pydio, formerly AjaXplorer, is a file sharing and management platform. The version offered through Softaculous is Pydio 8, the PHP-based Pydio Core, licensed AGPLv3. The project has since moved its focus to a successor product, Pydio Cells, and Pydio Core is marked end of life with no further security fixes.
Project status: The Softaculous listing is Pydio 8.2.5 (released 1 July 2020), the PHP-based Pydio Core. Its GitHub repository was archived on 25 November 2020 and states end of life on 31 December 2019, with no further security fixes. The vendor's current product is Pydio Cells. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.
