Mibew Messenger is an open-source live support application written in PHP and MySQL. It lets website visitors start one-on-one chats with operators through a button on the site, while operators work from a browser-based console. Its core is released under the Apache License 2.0 and can be extended with plugins.
Project status: Latest official release on GitHub is 3.6.0 (30 May 2023), more than three years old; the repository is not archived and still showed commits as late as October 2025.
