4images is a web-based image gallery system written in PHP and using MySQL. It handles image categories, user registration, comments and browser-based uploads, and uses a template system for design changes. It is published by 4homepages and is free for private and non-commercial use, with commercial licences for business use.
Project status: The latest release listed by the official site and Softaculous is 4images 1.10, announced 23 January 2023, which is more than three years old. The official forum is still online but no newer release was found. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.
