What is Textpattern?
Textpattern is an open-source content management system written in PHP with a MySQL back end. It focuses on well-structured, standards-compliant pages and separates content from presentation. It offers browser-based template editing, sections, categories, multiple authors and plugins, and is released under the GPL-2.0 licence with some components under other open-source licences.

- PHP: PHP 5.6.0+ minimum; PHP 8.4 or 8.5 recommended
