What is ProjectPier?
ProjectPier is a free, open-source, self-hosted PHP web application for managing tasks, projects and teams. It organises work into milestones, messages, task lists, tasks and files, and sends email notifications. Its source is on GitHub, but activity there stopped around 2015.
Project status: The last packaged release listed by Softaculous is version 0.8.8 from December 2015, the GitHub repository's latest visible commits date from 2015, and the projectpier.org domain redirected to a domain-for-sale page when checked. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.

- PHP: PHP 5.2 or greater per the repository README (not PHP 4)
- Database: MySQL 4.1+ with InnoDB support
- Apache 2.0+ (IIS 5+ also listed)
It is a basic PHP and MySQL application, but its documented requirements date from PHP 5.2 and MySQL 4.1 and the project has been inactive since 2015. Compatibility with current PHP versions is unconfirmed.
