What is Framadate?
Framadate is a free PHP web application for organising appointments and quick group decisions through shareable polls, without requiring participants to register. It was developed by Framasoft, grew out of the earlier STUdS project from the University of Strasbourg, and is often used as a self-hosted alternative to Doodle-style scheduling services.
Project status: Official repository on GitHub is archived (read-only, archived November 2025) with a notice that the software is no longer maintained; the developer's hosted service moved to a different tool called Pollaris. The Softaculous listing shows its last packaged version dates from December 2021. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.

Framadate requirements
- PHP: PHP 7.3 or later per the current repository notes (an older README states 5.6)
- Database: MySQL or MariaDB
- Smarty and o80-i18n libraries (bundled by the installer)
It is a plain PHP and MySQL/MariaDB application, so it fits a standard cPanel account. Because the project is archived, you would receive no upstream security fixes and should consider that before using it for anything public.
