What is wallabag?
wallabag is a free, open-source read-it-later application that saves web pages and extracts their main content so they can be read later without distractions. It was created by Nicolas Loeuillet and co-maintainers, is built on the Symfony PHP framework, and can be self-hosted or used through the project's managed wallabag.it service.

wallabag requirements
- PHP: PHP 8.2 or higher per the current composer.json (the documentation page states PHP 7.4 or higher)
- Database: SQLite, MySQL or PostgreSQL through PDO
- Composer and make for a manual install
- PHP extensions including session, ctype, hash, tokenizer, dom, simplexml, json, mbstring, xml, tidy, iconv, gettext, bcmath, intl, gd, curl
- One of pdo_mysql, pdo_pgsql or pdo_sqlite
