What is ImpressPages?
ImpressPages is an open-source, PHP-based content management system built around drag-and-drop editing done directly on the live page. It has been an open-source project since 2009. Its official site and Softaculous describe it as suited to standard websites rather than complex portals or online shops. Its most recent releases date from 2017 or earlier.
Project status: The newest package listed by Softaculous is 5.0.3 from July 2017, and the official releases page lists nothing newer than 4.6.0 (March 2015). No recent releases were found, so treat it as unmaintained and plan for your own security review. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.
